To say the least, the last year has seen a significant change in the federal government. This session will discuss how the new Trump Administration impacts the workplace.

Hot topics this year include changes in Administration policy on workplace issues, including LGBTQ rights and religious liberty at work; managing employee expression on and off the job; and what to expect at work in the years to come. As always, with good humor, Chuck's session will explore some of the more "unusual" questions that have arisen in the past year in order to keep abreast of the most cutting-edge legal issues involving work and its human resources.

About the Presenter:

Chuck Passaglia is an employment lawyer in Denver, Colorado.  He also founded and manages Employment Law Solutions, Inc., an human resources consulting firm, which specializes in advice and counseling, workplace investigations, and training the entire workforce in critical employment law compliance matters, including ethics, managing employees’ absences, compensation and benefits, and protections under federal and state anti-discrimination laws.  Previously, he was a litigation attorney with Moye Giles in Denver and in-house employment law counsel for Mountain States Employers Council, Inc.

Chuck conducts over 150 training sessions annually and is a regular contributor to legal and human resources publications.  He is an extremely lively and entertaining speaker in any setting, from small groups to national and local conferences, public or online.  He is also a Captain in the United States Navy Reserve and veteran of combat support operations in the Arabian Gulf region and Africa.

Chuck received a degree in Philosophy from St. Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri and his law degree from the University of Denver.  At the University of Denver, he served on the Board of Editors of the Denver University Law Review.
