This session focuses on improving the overall experience for candidates throughout the recruitment process. It covers key themes such as creating clear and compelling job descriptions, ensuring a seamless application process, maintaining clear and timely communication, unveiling a transparent hiring process, fostering meaningful connections and mutual respect, and providing rapid and relevant feedback.
Attendees will learn how to effectively capture and communicate job details, simplify the application process, keep candidates informed, set clear expectations, treat candidates with respect, and offer/receive constructive feedback. These insights aim to enhance the candidate’s experience, as well as make it more engaging and efficient for both the candidates and the organization.

Kylie Wilson has almost 30 years of professional and management experience in the public sector starting back in 1995. She has worked in several impactful management roles for municipal government entities in Texas to include Missouri City, Georgetown, League City and Baytown (where she retired in 2015).
Since 2018, she has been with CPS HR Consulting as an Executive Recruiter and Principal Consultant and conducts executive-level recruitments for various types of positions with cities, counties and special districts predominately in Texas, Colorado, Oklahoma, Arizona and California.
Prior to coming on board with CPS HR, she worked for Strategic Government Resources (SGR) following her retirement. She received her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University and her MBA and Executive Coaching certificate from Bellevue University. She resides in Seabrook, Texas (Houston-Galveston region) with her 14-year-old son, along with her two dogs and two cats.
