Annual Employment Law Review: A Rocky Mountain (Legislative) High

2019 was a very busy year in the Colorado legislature, particularly when it comes to employment-related matters: A new pay inequity law, "ban the box," and a salary history ban. 2020 promises more to come. Chuck Passaglia returns with another entertaining look at work and worklaw over the last year. The Supreme Court heard arguments about sexual orientation and gender identity bias. The Department of Labor adopted new rules addressing overtime and the salary requirements for exempt employees. The federal government is still pursuing claims gender bias and disability discrimination claims with fervor. We need to talk, so you can avoid the mistakes of others! Please join Chuck and be prepared to ask a ton of questions.
